Disposition of employees’ political contribution pre-clearance requests can be fully automated or partially automated for manual compliance review and signoff. The module auto-populates employee identification information, employee contribution history and de minimus exemption limits within the guidelines of the pay-to-play rule (for in-jurisdiction and out-of-jurisdiction contributions) based on the policy of the enterprise.

Guidelines Capabilities:

The module provides guidelines/rules for employee work groups, reporting cycles, government jurisdictions, government clients, reconciliation of contributions not pre-cleared, de minimus exemptions, etc. Further, it ties enterprise gift records to ensure that all politically-driven activity is aggregated to meet recordkeeping requirements under applicable rules.

Dynamic Document Distribution and Tracking:

The compliance team can create documents or forms on demand with mandatory fields, send the documents to all employees or employee work groups and track certifications and attestations to the forms.

Online certifications:

The module provides for online verification/certification of contributions and related political activity initiated by employees for variable calendar reporting cycles (e.g., quarterly, annually, etc.). Further, it provides for reports showing both completed and outstanding certifications.
