W. Anthony Turner – Principal
FTT was co-founded by W. Anthony Turner, who has 33 years experience in the investment services industry. In March 2013, Turner was awarded several patents by the United States Patent and Trademark Office for Financial Tracking’s solutions and technology related to the investments industry overall.

Prior to starting FTT in 1999, Mr. Turner worked with The BISYS Group Inc. (NYSE: BSG) the leading financial technology services provider to more than 15,000 financial institutions. While there he served as Managing Director for the investment services line of business for the Eastern US and supervisory principal for 11 fund distribution companies, including President of Chase Manhattan’s Vista Fund Distributors, Inc., President of the joint venture between Capital Group Companies and Long Term Credit Bank of Japan and President of Morgan Stanley’s MAS Funds. He was responsible for several integrations of operations, client services and sales initiatives due to acquisitions in his region. He later designed and implemented a new business development strategy that delivered one of the largest outsourcing relationships ever for BISYS and was sourced from a new target segment. Turner is a two-time recipient of the chairman’s summit sphere award.

He has been a panelist or keynote speaker at a number of financial services industry conferences including those sponsored by the Investment Company Institute, Institutional Investor, the Investment Adviser Association, the American Bankers Association (Securities Sales Managers’ Conference), National Regulatory Services, the Public Securities Association, the Securities Industry Association, and International Business Conference’s 6 th Annual Conference on Investment Management M&A. Mr. Turner has also served as an Advisory Board Member to the American Bankers Association’s Trust and Investment Management conference. He is frequently quoted in The Wall Street Journal, IA Week, Fox Business News, The New York Times, Greenwich Time, Bloomberg News and the American Banker. Previous employers include Bank of America Capital Markets and Putnam Investments, among others.

He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and also successfully completed the Leadership at the Peak Program conducted by the Center for Creative Leadership.
